"Tooth" is now officially in hiatus + Major changes ahead

Letting you guys know that I officially am not working on it right now. Should be obvious since I haven't updated in 3 months. But I wanted to officially say that. I don't want anyone to keep asking when the next update is or wait for it. Because it's not coming for a while. For the people that's not in the discord server, I hate Tooth. I hate working on it, I hate everything about it. I haven't enjoyed working on it in 2 years. I've spent so long on this and yet I haven't even gotten to the main storyline yet. It's not what I set out to make. And to change it into what I want it to be, it's going to take a lot of time and energy.  Something I can't spare right now. I'm in the middle of moving and now that I'm out of highschool, I need to worry about finding a job.  This doesn't mean that I'm quitting, in fact I plan to start picking back up once I move. Maybe actually changing this shity story will give me more enthusiasm to keep working. Worse comes to worst, I'll just cut out all the other routes besides Owen and maybe Seth and make it a shorter VN. But I don't think that will be necessary. Although I want to, that'd be scraping a lot of content. If I end up doing something like that, I will give warning though. For now, I will take away the ability to download Tooth.

But anyways, I'm gonna tell you what's going to be changed. I don't know how much is spoilers, because the people on the discord server already know most of this. But spoilers ahead anyways. 

What's going to be changed-

- The whole magic system will be removed. It doesn't add anything to the plot and its really confusing and stupid. Unironically most of the "magic teaching scenes" I added in just to meet my 15k word quota for that day. So in simpler terms, magic is filler to the story. Besides on Seth's route. Since that's his whole backstory. It also means Seth won't be able to  sacrifice himself when the routes die at the end of the good ending, but whatever.

- Tooth is being renamed too "One True Love".  Since there's no magic, theres no demons, and the tooth necklace wouldn't mean that much. Also I can make it into a twist. You'll have to play the whole game to figure that out :). No, it's not going to be some mushy rom com I promise. Just trust me on this. Better name then Tooth lmao

-I will be cutting Dorian from the game. No one really liked him, and his whole character background was kind of a duplicate of Andrew. Shitty dad type beat. I do think he would have a pretty good death scene but it's whatever. Just means I need to rework the others to make them better.

- Seth will be a rowdy teen that got kicked out of his house for being gay. Honestly wont have an effect on him too much. The only vital thing that will change, is that he won't be the one that turned Pn into a human. But I can make another twist or some shit. Just some slight character tweaks and some clothes changes. I'd love to make a bastard douche bag out of him. 

- Jake won't be a sorcerer. Didn't add anything to the plot anyways.

- Pn will be more of a love sick puppy then before. Instead of being depressed about being human, he'll be depressed because he doesn't have anyone to call his own. It's gonna piss me off trying to write a freak like him but I'll do it. It'll serve the plot and the vn's message.

-Max will be more hostile and bitchy to Seth and Pn. Giving Pn more of a drive to run away after graduation with Seth.

- Each of the character's new art will prob be different too. Like I.e I'm removing Andrew's frohawk and giving him a normal mohawk. 

- Removing the fight scenes/shorting them because they are cringe

Since I'm removing Dorian, I don't see any harm in leaking his whole story. His father is cheating on mother with their maid and he pays his son to not tell his mother. Since the maid's bedroom is next to his, he can hear them going at it all the time. His mother left his dad to marry his step dad, since he was rich. His real dad was a genuine kind man, but was poor. They both piss him off all the time. And since he can't talk back to his father he ends up taking his anger out at people at school. Dorian gives most of the money that his step dad gives him to his real father. Eh kinda week to me, but the death scene would be interesting at least. At both the good and bad endings, Dorian's creepy Step father would rape you while Dorian's out. When he comes back he shoots his father in his back, shooting you as well. The difference between the good and the bad endings would be if Seth used a blood sacrifice to make sure the bullet missed you or something.

As far as the changes go, that's only what I've came up with now. May be more changes in a bit.
