So.
For the people that arnt on the discord server (yeah I'm still advertising it), I'm fucked.
I recently fried my hard drive, with ramen juice, yeah ramen juice... 9 months of work is lost to ramen juice.
Dev log:
-lost all 3/4 views
-lost all sprites for Owen
- Lost the current sprites I was doing for Seth, only had 2 emotions left to do
- Lost Seth's day out
- all bugs are set free
- lost new sprites and old sprites
-lost main file where I kept all the sprites and art work for the game
With all this shit. I made a new plan. Instead of re-doing 9 months of work, I've decided to just cut out the 3/4 view completely, since I already have to do the front view for the rest it would make everything easier just to do the front and be done. There wasn't even really a reason for the 3/4 view shit so. This way I would only be loosing 1-2 months of work. Still a lost but it's the best I can do. It's just that, I was almost completly done with Seth's day. If I would have uploaded my work to Grammerly to spell check earler it'd only take 20 or so days to fix everything, but it is what it is. I'm sorry for this much of a set back

Oh no that's awful..... But since it already happened I don't think stressing over it is going to help so, don't worry, I know it easier said then done but, just don't lose your mind over it. We don't want you just getting stressed and overworking yourself, just take your time if you need to just cool down. Remember that your mental health should come first. Heh yeah I know. It's fine it will just delay stuff a bit. Mostly sucks because I was done with a new update right before it happened and if I got done quicker I wouldn't have lost any work, but it's nothing in my control so eh. Ouch!!! Any chance you can get it repaired and recover your work?
To prevent such disasters in the future, you can sinchronize folders to the cloud (for example, using Microsoft One Drive). Greetings and good luck!
Repaired is way out of the question and I completely fried it since I used it for a hour or so before I realized the what had happened. I could do that but it would be the same as backing it up to a thumb drive or something because you'd have to constantly update it. Thanks man and good luck to you as well
You can syncrhonize automatically with either One or Google drive, greetings!
Atom requires the files to be on desktop so I think it wont work but I'll have to check up on that, thanks mate, greetings
I am really sorry to hear that. But such bad things can happen in live and no one should blame you for it. The good thing is that you can learn from it and you don't let it discourage instead you just jump right back to it even if you got to make some adjustments to the game. Keep up the good work.
